A single compound that does the work of four.

Rubber manufacturers carry unnecessary complexity in their compound rooms — multiple chemicals to store, scorch loss that's written off, shelf-aged material that's discarded. FLEXIAID collapses that complexity into one addition.

The Problem

Complexity, loss, and stranded inventory.

  • Multiple chemicals to store — plasticizers, retarders, dry-flow, process aids
  • Scorched rubber: compound cost, inventory carry, disposal fees
  • Shelf-aged compounds with failing properties and poor flow
  • Rejected parts with no recovery path
Zn The Solution

FLEXIAID — proprietary zinc-based multi-function chemistry.

  • One compound, four simultaneous functions in processing
  • Restores and extends the shelf life of rubber compounds
  • Replaces peptizers, plasticizers, retarders and processing aids
  • Works across every rubber type and production method
The Result

Lower cost, higher yield, cleaner supply chain.

  • Lower raw material and disposal costs per batch
  • Less scrap — improved yield per production run
  • TGA analysis confirms undetectable devulcanization loading with enhanced post-ageing compound properties
  • TSCA and REACH compliant across the supply chain

Why one molecule does four jobs.

FLEXIAID is a proprietary zinc-based complex compound engineered specifically for the rubber industry. Unlike single-function additives, it acts simultaneously across every stage of compound life.

"Not a blend. Not a dosage reduction. A genuine functional replacement for four separate chemistries."
01 — Process Aid
Improves flow and processability.
Increases plasticity, fluidity and lubrication of the rubber compound during mixing and extrusion. Higher throughput, smoother surfaces, cleaner extrusion profiles.
02 — De-Crystalizer
Reverses storage-induced crystallization.
Breaks down crystalline structures that form in stored or aged rubber — restoring workability and flexibility to compounds written off as unusable.
03 — De-Scorcher
Prevents and reverses premature cure.
Prevents and reverses premature vulcanization during processing. Recovers scorched compounds typically routed directly to scrap — back to usable inventory.
04 — De-Vulcanizer
Enhanced Processability of Off-Grade Polymers & Reclaims
Enabling devulcanization, reprocessing and reuse of rejected parts, flashes and cured scrap.

Four separate chemicals, now one line item.

FLEXIAID doesn't reduce dosage of each chemical. It functionally replaces each one — simplifying your BOM, reducing SKU count in the compound room, and cutting procurement complexity.

Peptizer CHAIN BREAKER Plasticizer FLEXIBILITY AGENT Retarder SCORCH PREVENT Process Aid FLOW IMPROVER FLEXIAID ONE COMPOUND FOUR FUNCTIONS Simplified BOM FEWER SKUs Lower procurement cost ONE VENDOR Simpler compound recipe ONE ADDITION BEFORE CATALYST AFTER
Peptizer
Oxidation catalysts or radical acceptors used to break down rubber molecular chains for easier processing. FLEXIAID achieves equivalent molecular breakdown without a dedicated peptizer.
Plasticizer
Synthetic resins used to promote plasticity, flexibility and reduce brittleness in compounds. FLEXIAID improves flow and pliability without any separate plasticizer addition.
Retarder
Used to prevent premature vulcanization during mixing and processing. FLEXIAID's de-scorching function provides built-in scorch protection across the entire process window.
Processing Aid
Chemical additives used to increase plasticity, fluidity or lubrication of a compound. FLEXIAID simultaneously functions as a process aid — improving flow throughput and surface quality.

Proven across every major rubber type.

Whether your production runs natural rubber for tires, EPDM for seals, NBR for oil-resistant parts or butyl for inner liners — FLEXIAID integrates into your existing recipe without reformulation.

S S CROSS-LINKS FORMING
01 — Forward Process
Vulcanization
Used during standard sulfur vulcanization to improve compound flow, prevent premature cure and enhance the final cross-linked properties of the rubber product.
Applications
  • Fresh compound mixing
  • Injection moulding
  • Extrusion & calendering
  • Compression moulding
CROSS-LINKS BREAKING
02 — Reverse Process
De-Vulcanization
Breaks down existing cross-links in vulcanized rubber — enabling scrap recovery, reclaim processing and reintroduction of off-grade material into the production cycle.
Applications
  • Scorched compound recovery
  • Off-grade rubber reprocessing
  • Reclaim rubber grain orientation & activation
  • Flash & reject recovery
Cold de-vulcanization capability — no external heat required, reducing energy cost and preserving molecular integrity in the recovered compound.

Cold de-vulcanization in four steps.

No thermal input. No specialized equipment. Just your existing open mill or internal mixer — and FLEXIAID.

Step 01
Identify scrap material
Scorched stock, off-grade parts, rubber flashes and quality-rejected compounds are identified for recovery.
Zn Step 02
Add FLEXIAID at 3–5 PHR
Introduce FLEXIAID at recommended dose into the open mill or internal mixer along with the material to be recovered.
Step 03
Cold mix process
Process at ambient temperature — no external heat source required. Cross-links break down progressively under mechanical shear.
Step 04
Recovered compound
Material regains plasticity, processability and physical properties — ready to re-enter the production cycle.
